Almost totally vegan

We like to call this Vegan-friendly.

All our products are completely vegan, using no animal bi-products except for Fiber Putty & Forming Paste. We utilize a small amount of beeswax in these two items. Rest assured that the beeswax is obtained in a way that does not harm the bees!

The truth about silicones

Not all silicones are bad, but we do the research so you don't have to.

Though we have several silicone-free product options, the silicone we do use is completely shampoo-soluble and doesn't build-up or weigh down the hair. Please watch this video from our chemist and founder with more information on silicones.

The list goes on...

There's lots of chemicals and toxins we refuse to include in our formulas, here's the short list of common items we avoid.

Hair Health

All components of the hair structure require nourishment and energy for growth.

How does hair get damaged?
Environment, hard water, stress, medications, hormones, chemical services, heat/mechanical friction.

Skin/Scalp Health

Skin requires topical nourishment as well as internal.

The scalp ages 6x faster.

The scalp is the most porous skin and absorbs everything we put on it.

Product buildup blocks the hair follicles.

Gut Health

If microbes become unbalanced it can lead to inflammation which can trigger the skin.

Your gut is like soil. You have to feed it nutritious food & good bacteria to support good digestion which affects the health of hair, nails & skin.

Maintaining a healthy gut leads to healthy clear skin & your hair gets the nourishment it needs to thrive.

You aren’t what you eat. You aren’t what you digest. You are what you absorb!

“Virtually every nutritional deficiency can affect the health of our hair, nails & skin.” (George Washington School of Medicine)
