What’s your favorite product from LOMA?
My favorite LOMA product is definitely the Nourishing Oil Treatment! I’ve personally experienced the incredible results, and I’ve seen our extension clients really benefit from the lightweight formula. This allows us to use it daily on the hair to provide hydration and heat protection without weighing the hair down.
What's the newest, freshest approach you're bringing to your craft?
Hair Botox! This is a hydrating treatment that plumps the hair and reduces frizz. It repairs the hair with collagen and deeply hydrates it to restore softness and shine. It lasts 2-4 months, and it’s great for all hair types!
What are your stylist goals?
My goals as a stylist are to continue to learn and be the absolute best at what I do. I believe the key to success is to always consider yourself a student and be ready to learn at every turn!
What new skill would you like to learn?
My dream is to become a Beekeeper! I have always been so fascinated by bees, and I would love to learn about owning an apiary.
Where do you find your inspiration?
My team is where my inspiration derives. My motivation behind the things I do and have worked hard to create comes from these women. The environment we have at The Parlor is more than a team. It’s a sisterhood. Our connection goes beyond work but inspires me in my personal life as well.
What is the most rewarding part about being a stylist?
The biggest reward is making women feel confident and beautiful. Nothing fills my cup more than seeing an outward transformation produce a truly positive change inwardly.
What is your favorite cutting or coloring technique?
My favorite technique is the magic of using extensions to enhance color and cutting them to blend with the client’s natural hair. I am proud of the unique ability my team has in the detail of this customization.
What is a word of advice that you have for fellow stylists?
My word of advice goes hand in hand with my personal goals as a stylist. Whether you’re brand new or have been at it for years, never stop learning. It’s important to understand that this industry will always be evolving. Don’t ever think you know it all!
How do you like to spend your days off?
My favorite thing to do outside of work is to spend time with my family! I also really enjoy traveling and experiencing places, both new and old to me!
Favorite pick-me-up in the middle of a busy salon day?
Iced coffee is my favorite pick-me-up during a busy day! Who doesn’t love a little extra energy?!
